Al-Hayba
If you enjoy the action and drama of Arabian-style crime thrillers, you will love the Al-Hayba Arabic Series. The series is set in Lebanon and Syria. The characters are primarily Arab, including Alia, who is played by Nadine Nassib Njeim. She lives in Canada with her son Jabal Jr. Adel, her son, is born to infamous crime family Sheikh Al Jabal. After Adel dies, Alia and her son are brought back to Hayba, where he is buried. Although Adel’s family members are prominent in Hayba, the clan is trying to keep Alia’s son, which makes Alia’s life much more complicated than before.
Despite its limited release, the series’ success is impressive. Its premiere on pan-Arabic network MBC drew a massive response and earned a fantastic TV rating across all demographics. The series also went on to win a majority of the drama market in 12 countries, including the US. The series became the most talked about show on the web for 30 consecutive days, and it touched the social media in unexpected ways. Some people even took on the hairstyles of the actors’ characters and started a new trend.
Till Death
If you’re a Netflix UK member, you can now enjoy the latest installment of “Till Death in Arabic Series.” Produced by Eagle Films Arabia, the show debuted on April 13th 2021 and ran for 60 episodes across two seasons. It concluded on May 1st 2022. The cast and crew of “Till Death” all share a common goal: to create an engaging and gripping drama series with a global audience.
Finding Ola
The story of Finding Ola in the Arabic Series is an exciting one, as it tells of the search for a true identity for an Egyptian woman. This story was based on a 2010 musalsal, written by Ayzah Atgawez and Ghada Abdel-Aal. The musalsal explores the role of women in society, and how they are often constrained by social and cultural expectations.
In its first season, the film was directed by Sabri, who also wrote and produced the film. The film is a romantic comedy-drama with a pan-Arab appeal, featuring an Egyptian-Tunisian actress who hasn’t played the character since 2010. The plot follows the adventures of a young pharmacist, Ola, as she attempts to find a new man. The series also follows the story of another Egyptian comedy-drama, Ayza Atgawez.

The series is available on Netflix, but not in Germany or the UK. Streaming Arabic movies from the 80s and 90s is also worth checking out. Black Crows
The MBC Group is bringing the world a new drama, Black Crows, set in the Middle East. The series focuses on the criminality and deviance of the ISIL. It is a drama rooted in reality that tells the story of women who join ISIL and are forced into “sex jihad.” It also depicts the brutal tactics of ISIL and their recruitment practices. The series aims to confront terrorism and the corruption it breeds.
The series portrays Arabs from different countries and speaks to national communities. It features some of the best acting in the Middle East, and offers a glimpse into the life of the terrorists. The soundtrack has typical Arabic music. The Arabic language might hinder some viewers from understanding the story, but subtitles are provided for their convenience. The first episode of the series was aired on MBC a week before the holy month, and it has been widely praised by critics.
Takki
If you are a Saudi television viewer, you may be curious about Takki Arabic Series. The mini-series is fourteen episodes long and filmed entirely in Arabic. Netflix provides subtitles in 30 different languages for each episode. The story revolves around a young aspiring filmmaker from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The mini-series gives viewers a unique glimpse into the Saudi youth culture before it opens its doors to international events.
It features two young men, Malek and Bayan, who struggle to achieve their dreams of becoming a filmmaker. The show also touches on hot-button social issues such as the role of religious police, criminal gangs, and societal expectations for men and women. While the show initially received a negative response online due to the presence of a female lead, Netflix acquired the show and made it available to millions of viewers around the world.
