Now more than ever, women are in charge of their own health. Whether they’re finishing school, advancing in their career, or starting a family, they are focused on their goals and achieving them. Unfortunately, many women ignore the importance of being proactive about their health and end up experiencing health issues later in life.

You can choose when you want to get pregnant, but what’s stopping you from getting pregnant? It may not be as simple as going with the flow. It all depends on your age and overall health — factors that could put a damper on your chances of conceiving, or make it easier for you to become pregnant later in life.

If you’ve been thinking about having a baby but are concerned about the effects of aging, you’re not alone. Every woman has different goals and plans for her future. Pregnancy comes with many factors, and age is one of them.

We’ll look at the Apollo Pregnancy Test Kit. It’s not a medical product. Rather it’s a specialized home pregnancy test kit you can use to check whether you’re pregnant or not.

The process of oogenesis and fertilization that brings a new life are naturally spontaneous and happen when the right conditions are available. It is not easy to conceive, as one may have to work hard to achieve good results. There are several factors responsible for pregnancy problems which can be due to various reasons. A simple treatment with acupuncture or acupressure works wonders by balancing the hormones and stimulating the endocrine system to release reproductive hormones in normal quantities.

    Age and your fertility

You were born with over one million eggs in your ovaries. As you get older, your natural supply of eggs decreases until you’re no longer fertile. Each embryo also starts off with a limited amount of eggs that slowly declines over time, which can affect their quality and the number that can survive to develop into blastocysts. Some couples who are having difficulty conceiving may worry about this – egg freezing is a way to bank your eggs for later use.

According to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, if you are hoping to get pregnant and if age is a factor, you should consider starting your pregnancy efforts in your mid-twenties. Age explains 80 percent of fertility variation between women. Thus older age will affect your timing for starting a family.

While your number of eggs decreases with age, hormonal changes as you get older could increase your chances of having multiples—like twins or triplets.

Age and your health during pregnancy

A woman’s age continues to play a role even after she becomes pregnant. According to the National Institutes of Health, women who are 17 and younger or 35 and older are more likely than women 18-34 to have serious complications during pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

Researchers have identified a strong association between female age and the risk of miscarriage. The risk of miscarriage increases with maternal age. For women under 35, about 14 percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage, but that percentage increases to about 40 percent for women 40 and older. Women who are more than six years past menopause and those who have never been pregnant also face an increased risk of miscarriage.

So, you’re pregnant, congratulations! Being pregnant is exciting and overwhelming. Being high-risk, however, can be frightening. But you don’t have to know all the answers right now. There are plenty of resources that can help guide you through a high-risk pregnancy; whether it’s your pregnancy or a friend’s or family member’s. The most important thing is knowing some of the basics of what you should expect and being prepared for any complications that could arise.

How to treat you’re prepared to get pregnant

Whether you’re over 40 and have never been pregnant; or if you’re 18 and just entering your first relationship, deciding to experience childbearing as a part of an adult life is an important step, and one you shouldn’t take lightly.

A complete physical exam is the best place to start when trying to become pregnant. This can help us rule out or identify a variety of conditions, like endometriosis or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), that might interfere with your ability to conceive.

One of the most important factors in being able to have a healthy pregnancy is age. It’s true that older women can have difficulties conceiving and giving birth. However, thousands of women in their 30s and 40s get pregnant every year and go on to have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.
